Who wears the pants again?

So, I know that It may be an old fashion idea but from my recent break up I’ve been rethinking this topic. Why is it the men wear the pants and who the hell said women can’t be the sex driven, hate being cuddled and the one who loves to watch sports? Like where the fuck is it written that it can’t be both. Maybe I’m just not as old fashion as I would like to think.

I may have a lot of people disagree with me and no that doesn’t mean that I don’t like a good cuddle or to watch a good chick flick, but I also love to watch sports, scream at the refs when they screw up and laugh at other people’s team choices (Panthers…. Really?) On the other side of that, if you switch the roles up that man now is labeled as “Pu$$y Whipped” or she as labeled as his “Dominate” because that’s how society has been taught to treat them. Why is that? Why can’t women just be labeled as the independent women they are? Why can’t it be ok to like sports, sex and comic book flicks. Why can’t a man like a nice chick flick and being the small spoon once in a while?

I’m perfectly fine being called a slut, or a whore because of the things I like. Actually, in some way it makes me feel impowered knowing that what I like is frowned upon in some way. I am me! I am what I like. I am ok with that. I’m working on the parts I don’t like but all in all I am the person I’m ok with being. I went for a small walk yesterday coming up with some ideas for my blog and this is one that got stuck. Comment below and let me know how you feel about this topic.
